Using our technology, we convert manure and slurry from cattle farming, as well as biogas plants and other biogenic CO₂/methane sources, into high-quality bio-methanol. This bio-methanol serves as a sustainable alternative fuel for the shipping industry. We are committed to decarbonizing the energy sector. It’s not just biogas plants that face challenges with CO₂ and methane emissions — the energy and food industries do too.
We tailor our processes to the specific conditions on site. Our portfolio includes CCU (Carbon Capture and Utilisation) technologies, as well as direct steam reforming of biomethane into syngas, CO₂, and hydrogen—without the need for separate CO₂ capture. For point-source emissions, we also apply proven CO₂ separation methods such as the Rectisol process or amine scrubbing.
We focus on all processes where CO₂ is generated. Once a certain CO₂ concentration is reached, we can capture and reuse the greenhouse gas—enabling climate-neutral energy production. Our technology allows for the sustainable and climate-friendly production of bio-methanol. This bio-methanol can be used as a renewable fuel for ships and agricultural machinery, or as a raw material in the green chemical industry. It can also serve as a liquid hydrogen carrier for transport and be used in fuel cells.
We rely solely on technologies that have been proven on the market and in use for decades. It starts with activated carbon for sulfur removal in biogas, continues with steam reforming of biomethane for hydrogen production, and moves on to methanol synthesis in a boiling water reactor with integrated steam generation. The final step is standard methanol distillation to separate methanol and water. We combine these processes in a way that fits your specific application—ensuring maximum heat integration and internal energy recovery.
